SCM to show lean concepts for cabinets, closets at AWFS Fair

LAS VEGAS – SCM’s display at AWFS Fair this week will include more than 12,000 square feet of equipment, demonstrations of Industry 4.0 and lean manufacturing, seminars and other activities.

Featured equipment will include edgebanders with SCM’s AirFusion, PU Box L (PUR glue system) and the SGP glue pot as well as new CNC machining centers designed for boring, routing and edging. Also on display will be SCM’s lean cell that will demonstrate a labeling and nesting machine, a Stefani HD Solution edgebander, and a bore and dowel machine coupled with two robots for loading all the machines and unloading directly to carts.

SCM’s booth Booth 8200-8600 will also have sanding, door and window equipment, panel saws, and virtual reality presentations.

Lean Manufacturing Cabinet Production will be shown Wednesday to Friday at – Fri: 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Lean Concepts for Manufacturing Closets will be demonstrated Wednesday to Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
